IV. Provision of the website and creation of log files

    1. Description and scope of data processing

Each time our website is accessed, the system (or the hosting provider) automatically collects data from the computer system of the accessing device. The following data is collected: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, and date and time of access.

    2. Legal basis and purpose

The legal basis for the temporary storage of the data and log files is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Storing the IP address is necessary to enable delivery of the website. The log files serve to ensure the functionality and security of the systems. No evaluation for marketing purposes takes place in this context.

    V. No use of cookies or tracking

Our website is configured so that, by default, no cookies are stored on your device and no automated tracking (such as through Google Analytics or Matomo) of your browsing behaviour takes place. Should these technical settings change in the future, we will first obtain your explicit consent via a consent management tool.

VI. Contact form (web-to-lead) & Salesforce

    1. Description and scope

Our website provides a contact form that can be used to get in touch electronically. The data entered in the input form (such as name, email address, phone number) is transmitted to us and stored in our CRM system for processing your inquiry.

For customer management and processing this form data, we use the service provider Salesforce (Salesforce.com Germany GmbH, Erika-Mann-Str. 31, 80636 München). The data entered via the form is transmitted directly to Salesforce ("web-to-lead") and processed there on secure servers.

    2. Legal basis and purpose

The purpose of the processing is to handle your inquiry. The legal basis for processing the data is, where consent has been given, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR as well as Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in efficient customer management). If the contact is aimed at concluding a contract, the additional legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

We have concluded a corresponding data processing agreement (DPA) with Salesforce pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR, which ensures that your data is processed exclusively in accordance with our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.

    VII. Use of Google Maps

On the "Contact" subpage, we use the Google Maps service. This allows us to show you interactive maps directly on the website and enables you to conveniently use the map function.

By visiting the website, Google receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding subpage. In addition, your IP address is transmitted to Google servers (potentially in the USA). This occurs regardless of whether Google provides a user account through which you are logged in, or whether no user account exists. The legal basis for using Google Maps is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in an appealing presentation of our online offerings and easy locatability of the specified place), or Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR where your consent (e.g. by clicking to load the map) has been obtained.

The service provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Further information on the purpose and scope of data collection can be found in Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.
